Aubrey Comstock Welch:
I was born in Boise, ID and went to college at University of Idaho, followed by nursing school through Idaho State University. Now here I am at Westminster. I have been a nurse for five years with experience in Med/Surg and then the ICU. I worked in Jackson Hole, WY and Steamboat Springs, CO. I enjoy any outdoor activity especially white water rafting, skiing, and sports. My family includes me, my husband of eight months (Chris), and my yellow lab (Jake). Chris is a firefighter and Jake loves tennis balls. We hope to move back to Idaho upon graduation to be near family.
Our dog, Jake, is pictured below:
I grew up in San Diego, CA until my Junior year of high school when we moved to
Colorado Springs, CO. I was a raft guide for seven years before I buckled
down and finished nursing school. I went to nursing school in Grand Junction, CO.
Once finished, I moved to Salt Lake City, UT to take part in a Critical Care Internship program at the University of Utah Hospital. Following that I worked in the Surgical ICU, and I have also worked in the ER. I have a passion for international service work, so I do that as I have time and the opportunity. I am married and have a yellow lab. cheers, elie

Jay Tipton:
I was born in Modesto, CA - then moved and grew up in Sonora, CA (Sonora High class of 1996). I feel so blessed to have met and married my best friend and high school sweetheart, Jenny (Hursky) Tipton in 2001. I earned a basketball scholarship to play at CSU Stanislaus in Turlock, CA. After my "plan A" fell through of earning millions playing in the NBA, I decided to refocus on my studies. Jenny and I both attended nursing school together, graduating in 2004. Together, we have two amazing kids, Hannah and Isaac that keep us laughing through the hard times. My true loves in life are my family, friends, working out, sports, church, music, playing the guitar, Pearl Jam, BYU, the Kings, and the 49ers. My nursing background included PACU, OR, SICU, and placing PICC lines. I attended nursing school with the dream of one day becoming a CRNA. I am so grateful to be here in Utah, experiencing this journey with my family and amazing classmates. Looking
forward to December 2012!

Stephanie Moore:Hello! Well, I guess I am the "baby momma" in the class. When the program started I was 22 years old, with a 5-month old baby boy (Mason), and a husband of 3+ years (Kritt) who was also in school full time. Go ahead and call me crazy. I blame great parents for teaching me to follow my dreams! : ) I am from Moses Lake, WA. I graduated with my nursing degree from BYU-Idaho, and I have lived in Utah since then (currently in Lehi). My work experience is isolated to the ICU. I did a Critical Care Internship at the University of Utah Hospital here in Salt Lake City. For six months I rotated through the Medical/Cardiac ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, and Burn/Trauma ICU--which was a great experience. I settled nicely in the Medical/Cardiac ICU, however, and worked there for three years before going per diem for school. It has not been easy with a baby, but he makes every ounce of stress worth it. My hobbies include dance, running, and writing. I am a huge fan of Real Salt Lake... well at least that's what I did when I had time. My personal blog is here.
